Sharing my passion: The story behind creating my website
Hello and welcome to part 3 of my fitness journey. If you’re just tuning in, don’t forget to check out the last two parts. Today, I want to talk about when and why I started sharing my passion.
You see, when I began my fitness journey, I noticed a lot of misinformation floating around social media. There were endless posts about diets, quick solutions, and training plans that promised results but never seemed to hold up. At that moment, I didn’t have the knowledge, will or power to do anything about it; but even then, I knew that wasn’t something I wanted for myself or any other person out there trying to set foot in this path. So, I promised myself to be part of the solution as soon as I had what it took! It all began from that simple decision. I started my Twitter account with one goal in mind: to share accurate, realistic information that would actually help people without tricking them or selling dreams!
However, my activity on social media wasn’t even that serious at first. My Twitter account was just like a little online diary to track my own progress and share bits of motivation. Just a little something to keep me on the right track. Honestly, I still don’t remember exactly when it turned into something more than just occasional posts and tweets. But, soon enough, I was able to connect with like-minded people, and reach those who were exactly like me.
You see, the more I shared, the more I saw other people benefiting from my content and that felt amazing. It wasn’t long before I became known for sharing genuine, practical advice on everything from diet to workout techniques. To be honest, it wasn’t always as easy as it sounds. Managing a social media account, while moving forward with my own training, required serious commitment. However, I soon understood that if I could help even one person avoid the confusion and frustration I once felt, then it was worth the effort.
Slowly, my following started to grow. I began sharing more detailed workout plans, explaining the science behind certain exercises, and breaking down diet myths. It became clear that people were hungry for trustworthy, practical information and at that point Twitter didn’t seem like enough. I needed a more organized, reliable and efficient space to share everything with those who needed it. And that’s where an idea was born.
It was right then and there that I realized I needed a space where I could offer more than just tweets and quick updates. I wanted to provide full guides, introducing various exercises, offering complete workout plans, and giving advice on nutrition. I needed to use many different papers and references to make sure every single word out of my mouth was backed by real evidence. That’s why I launched my website, a hub where anyone, no matter their fitness level, could find quality information. So here we are. What started as a Twitter account has now grown into a platform where I can help others find their strength, just like I did. And this is only the beginning!
